Landscapes are where I started, they are what first
got me interested in photography. I love to spend time outdoors and
watch the interaction of the light on the land and this gallery contains
examples of my efforts to capture those moments and bring something
of them to print. The gallery is currently made up of images from
England, Scotland and Wales but as my travels take me further I will
add more locations.

As much as I enjoy colour photography there
are times when monochrome suits a subject better. Either in terms
of mood or graphic content. The images in this gallery represent moments
when, in my opinion, black and white was the best choice. Without
colour we see the world in a completely different way and I have always
enjoyed the challenge of finding that 'hidden' image.

I was fortunate enough to be able to spend
four days in this remarkable city during November. This gallery contains
the fruits of that visit. Although November is reported to be the
wettest month in Venice, I was very lucky and only had to contend
with an occasional fog. I have to say though that it only served to
make the canals and squares even more amazing.

Much of my work looks out into the landscape.
I constantly strive to capture the views around me and translate that
space into a single image. However, the more time I have spent waiting
for the right light, or the right cloud formation, the more I have
started to notice the mini landscapes all around me, and the more
I have come to realise that I don't always have to be seeking the
'big picture'.

The images in this gallery represent defining
elements in the portfolio and are selected from the other galleries
as key examples of my work. They are only available in a single print
size and a maximum of 50 copies per image.
