evening at elterwater
Being one of the smaller Cumbrian lakes, Elterwater is often overlooked.
Which is a shame because in the right conditions it can be very rewarding.
It's sheltered position can often give rise to an almost mirror like calmness
on the water. If you are lucky enough to have that occur at the same time
as a good sunset then congratulate yourself on your good fortune and pity
those who just drove by.
